For Summer 2012, Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren captures the bohemian spirit of the Western Sierra as well as prints and rugged aesthetic of an African safari. Summer is ushered in using tonal whites with a variety of textures – from chunky, breezy knits to fine-gauge crochet and washed canvas. Shades of bone, ivory and chalky cream blend together to encompass the Southwestern spirit with hints of fringe, leather and distressed suede. The collection hosts a wide range of novelty pieces from tie-dyes in palettes of olive, gold, brown and tan – in addition to vegetable-dyed messenger bags and field jackets.
